An answer is a formal written statement by a defendant responding to a complaint or motion allowed under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7012.
The party must use the below event to file an answer or response to a complaint, third-party complaint, counterclaim, or cross-claim.
When a responding party is a corporation, the party must file a Corporate Ownership Statement. See Corporate Ownership Statement.

30 days after the issuance of the summons in which to serve an answer or make a motion allowed under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7012, except when a different time is prescribed by the court.
